About Omalirel Omalizumab Injection

Omalirel Injection is a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody designed for the treatment of moderate to severe persistent allergic asthma and chronic spontaneous urticaria (CSU) in patients inadequately controlled with conventional therapies. It works by selectively binding to immunoglobulin E (IgE), preventing IgE from attaching to allergic cells and thereby reducing the allergic response.

Indications:

• Moderate to severe persistent allergic asthma in patients aged 6 years and above

• Chronic spontaneous urticaria in patients unresponsive to antihistamines

Dosage & Administration:

• Administered subcutaneously under medical supervision.

• Dose is individualized based on patients serum IgE level and body weight.

• Typically given every 24 weeks as per physicians recommendation.
