Nexivan is a sterile, ready-to-use Vancomycin Hydrochloride Injection, a potent glycopeptide antibiotic used for the treatment of severe bacterial infections caused by Gram-positive organisms, including Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). It is indicated for infections of the respiratory tract, skin and soft tissue, bone and joint infections, endocarditis, and septicemia where other antibiotics may be ineffective.
