About Fondared 2.5mg Injection

Fondared 2.5 mg Injection contains Fondaparinux Sodium, an anticoagulant (blood thinner) used to prevent and treat blood clots. It works by selectively inhibiting Factor Xa, thereby reducing the formation of harmful clots in the blood.

This injection is commonly prescribed for the prevention of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) in patients undergoing orthopedic surgeries such as hip or knee replacement, and for the treatment of acute thromboembolic conditions under medical supervision.
